Processing method

  1. Confirm a two-channel decoded input.
  2. Calculate each output sample as (left + right) ÷ 2.
  3. Keep sample rate and duration unchanged.
  4. Preview and export a new mono WAV.

Known limits

  • Opposite-phase content can cancel in a mono average.
  • This does not perform stem separation or dialogue isolation.
