Processing method

Read supported embedded metadata locally.
Decode audio in browser memory where the browser supports it.
Report decoded peak facts beside the readable metadata.
For a batch, download an XLSX report and optional renamed copies containing the original bytes.

Known limits

The first release reads embedded metadata from MP3 ID3; other containers do not receive tag parsing.
Peak describes browser-decoded samples, not a forensic or repair result.
Multiple downloads may require browser permission.

No. The current workspace reads and processes the selected file in browser memory.

Will Sonelora overwrite my source?

No. Every change exports a new file; the selected source stays untouched.
