SILENCE / MULTIPLE OUTPUTS

Turn long quiet boundaries into separate audio files.

Use a visible silence rule to find split points, review the resulting segment list, then download each section as a new WAV.

BROWSER-LOCAL / LIVE
FILE BOUNDARYThe selected file enters browser memory only. There is no server upload path, and the source is never overwritten.

Split at silence

Audio stays in this browser. The original file is never changed; exports are new WAV files.

METHOD / LIMITS / CHECK

The output rule should be as clear as the button.

01

Processing method

  1. Detect only quiet regions long enough to become boundaries.
  2. Place split points at the center of accepted quiet regions.
  3. Discard empty edge segments.
  4. Name and download every resulting WAV separately.
02

Known limits

  • Multiple downloads may require browser permission.
  • A noisy recording may need a lower threshold or manual splitting elsewhere.

FAQ / TRUST

Answers that belong before file selection.

Does my audio leave this device?

No. The current workspace reads and processes the selected file in browser memory.

Will Sonelora overwrite my source?

No. Every change exports a new file; the selected source stays untouched.
